What a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much to everyone who volunteered their time and hard work. You all made this reunion so special. You went the extra mile with decorations, gift bags, pictures, food,CDs,etc. I had such fun reconnecting with old friends! It sure doesn't seem like 50 years. I think we really had a great class. I appreciate all those who traveled long distances. Thanks again to a super committee.

It was a pleasure to be part of the committee for our 50 year class reunion. So thankful that so many of our classmates from near and far came back. That is what makes the reunion. It appeared to me that everyone enjoyed themselves. It was a lot of fun working with everyone, and I am actually going to miss it. I didn't get to talk to everyone I wanted to,but maybe next time. Stay well and God"s blessings to all! Jan Burch Campbell

There are three stages of life:

1. Youth

2. Middle age and

3. "Gee, you're lookin' good."

Our 50th Reunion was a blast! Thanks to the organizers. And thanks to all of you for attending. It was great to reconnect and catch up!

What a mystery:  To see someone after a half-century and still feel an immediate, real, unfeigned connection.  We were so open to the world and each other in those days.  I can't add to the deserved praise that others have heaped on the committee, so for once I will shut up and bask in the thought of having such friends.

What a great weekend!  Thanks to all who planned and made it happen. Excellent job.

I really enjoyed seeing everyone. (Just remember, it's better to be seen than viewed)

Looking forward to the next one.

I’ll add my two cents in to the well deserved accolades already givyto the planning committee. They did a great job. But I want a do over so that I could try to talk to more people. Since I was a “new guy” to the class in the junior class I didn’t know a lot of the names but appreciated those who new my name and reminded  me who they were.

If you took the tour on Sunday and thought about the site of C,D,E, and F buildings, an aerial shot of the NHS campus we attended from 1965-68 was included in your welcome bag.  The picture was taken circa 1962-63 and is in the front and back cover of the 1964 Reveille. Richard Pound took a photo of that photo and Janet Yost Maney had it printed for y'all. Richard also took the picture of the Licking County Courthouse at dusk on Flag Day this year.

This was the first time I was on the Reunion Committee, and the first Reunion I've attended. We had a lot to do to put the 50th together in one year, and we had a lot of fun doing it. It was great to greet old friends and make new ones.  Thanks to all that helped and all who attended.

I uploaded pictures from the 50th Class Reunion.  They are in the side bar under "50th Mixer" and "50th Class Reunion".  The NHS Tour is under the "50th Class Reunion".  Again, it was great to see so many people at the reunion and renew old acquaintances, some of which I haven't seen in 50 years.  But, we all still look good, don't we?

Thank you , Larry for posting all the great pictures from the 50th reunion.   It was fun to see people that I haven't seen for so long. And kind of hard to figure out some of the faces!!  I'm disappointed I was not able to be there but very happy to see such a big turnout for all those who worked so hard to put it together.  Thanks again for sharing.

I’m so glad to be a part of the reunion committee even though I was several hundred miles away but so glad  I got to work with Nancy Fetter on the memorial tribute to all our 75 classmates who have passed on. We  tried very hard to include all those that attended school with us or went on to graduate with us to be included. So wish this reunion lasted longer. I wanted to talk with more of long lost friends.

I think we should have an informal reunion in 2 years to celebrate our 70th birthday year. What do you think?

Thanks Peg for giving Nancy and I a project  we could work on from afar.

I experienced a cultural shock coming NHS, because I came from a class of 28 to a class over 500  I have met more of you after graduation than during the 3 years at NHS. Always thankful my parents moved us to Newark.  Love to hear from fellow classmates anytime.  If you get to Fort Myers any time I’d like to meet up

What a great weekend. The committee did an out standing job, thank you all so much for your hard work and taking time for all of us. Time is short let's plan another soon, remember growing old is a privilege.

My apologies to Jan Burch Campbell for not mentioning her when I made comments comending the outstanding job by the reunion committee. It was indeed an oversight on my part. Jan was an integral and influencial member of the committee who worked extremely hard to make this 50th reunion a success. "You Rock Jan"!! A friend and appreciative classmate...Curtis P.

As I made the 20 hour trip back to Houston I had a lot of time to reflect on what a wonderful time I had during the 2 nights of our 50th reunion while listening to the 2 cd's that were provided. Much thanks to the entire committee that did an outstanding job putting it all together.  The only regret I have is that I didn't get to see and talk to some of my classmates I now know were there. Evidently we didn't recognize each other or we certainly would have interacted. Happy 46th Anniversary to my wonderful friend Denise Dishon (Winegardner) and Jay as it was one of my highlights visiting with y'all. Looking forward to seeing some of you on FB. Best regards.

Assuming that anyone that reads this note has read all the preceding entries, I have little to add. But I must say thanks to all of you that spent the immense amount of time it took to pull this off. Awesome job!

The only thing that would have made it better is more time together. I know I missed the opportunity to talk to so many other old friends/classmates and I'm sorry about that.

During the years since we left high school, I have talked to many people that said they didn't like high school. All I can say is they went to the wrong school in the wrong class.
