Diana Holmes (Brown) just informed me that we lost another classmate this past November.  Aryawanna Amos (Kent) died on November 4, 2017.  Her obituary is included in "In Memory."  May Aryawanna rest in peace.

Marty Lange lost his partner of 22 years, Connie Radabaugh.  Following is her obituary.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Marty, at your loss.

Newark - A funeral service for Constance "Connie" Sue Radabaugh, 65, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Connie passed away March 10, 2018 in Key Largo FL. She was born April 18, 1952, in Newark, Ohio, to the late Joseph Eugene and Nina Jean (Smith) Gilligan.

Connie was a loving mother, loyal partner, gracious friend, and a tirelessly devoted "Mamaw". She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, and traveling the world with her partner, Marty. She ended her time here on earth, soaking in the island life - in the beautiful Florida Keys.

Connie is survived by her beloved partner of 22 years, Bruce (Marty) Lange; children, Allison (Clint) Moore, of Newark and Amy Williamson (Eric Cornwell) of Blacklick, OH; step-children, Josh (Heather) Lange of Newark, Nicholas (Kody) Lange of Lewis Center, OH and Nathan (Jessica) Lange of Grove City, OH; siblings, Jim (Judy) Gilligan, Steve Gilligan (Lori Griley), and Cathy (Mike) Schell, all of Newark, Doug (Robin) Gilligan of Charleston, SC, and Mark (Debbie) Gilligan of Newark, and grandchildren, Hallie, Hannah, Dillon, Mason, Braelyn, Kenzley, Landen, Koben, Kensingten, and Averi.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Mike Radabaugh.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association: Red Dress.

For our 50th Reunion, we are planning a golf outing at Forest Hills Golf Course, Saturday morning, August 25th, at 9:00 A.M.  Cost will be $15.00 for 18 holes.  The cost will include a golf cart - such a deal!  Forest Hills also has a full bar that serves mixed drinks, beer, and wine.  They also have pizza, Sloppy Joes, hot dogs, shredded chicken, pulled pork, pop, chips, etc.

Both the FOP and St. Leonard Church are on level ground.  There are no steps to climb, so both are handicap friendly.

Our committee has, with the help of Dick Pound, gathered several hundred - never before seen - pictures of the Class of 1968 from our high school days. We will be making DVD's to be sold during the Friday mixer and the Saturday dinner. Make sure you get your copy!!  (This one is from the yearbook)

Silly me, I edited something on the registration and I have a number, etc., but after saving changes, I was unable to proceed to Linda Brucker's address, etc. for checkout. What is her address again, and to whom do I make out the check?

Make out check to Newark Class of 1968 and send to Linda Brucker, 246 Sherwood Dr. N, Newark, OH 43055.

Two little notes about registration for the 50th Reunion:  If you register here on the website, don't forget to send payment to Linda Brucker.  Also, if you send payment to Linda first, make sure you register on the website under "50th Reunion".  We need to know numbers to plan for food.

Hello!

There are over 110 people signed up to come to the Class Reunion and several people have signed up for the Golf on Saturday!.  If anyone needs any assistance getting signed up for the reunion or the golf, please put a message to me on the forum or give me a call.  740-344-7561.

If anyone you know doesn't have a computer or needs us to get them signed up, please let any of the committee know.  I have signed up a few people by creating an e-mail for them and signing them onto the Website.  They can use Facebook or the Class Website to get a hold of Larry Wilson, Charlotte Barch McPeek, Jan Burch Campbell, Donetta Phillips Kirk, Bob White, Linda Miller Brucker......anyone!  There are over 20 people working on the reunion!!  You will be amazed at all of the work people are doing to make this a memorable event for the Great Class of 1968!!  We don't want anyone left out.

Looking forward to seeing Everyone the week-end of August 24-26 smileyheart

Here's another school picture - this one from Cherry Valley Elementary.  My, how we have changed.  Thanks to Dave Smith for submitting the photo.

Many thanks to the two Davids, Smith and Roach, for the photo archaeology work.  I noticed from my 6th grade Cherry Valley class that two photos apparently were deemed necessary to capture the super-sized personalities of Charles Snow, Tim Powell, and Steve Betts!  But also sad to note that Charlie, Susan Schuyler, Gary Harner, and John Clark (and perhaps I missed someone else) are no longer with us.
