Comments:

I'm not ready to retire as I read that so many of you have done. I love what I do and find it very fulfilling. Nonprofit work is in my blood. I joke that I discovered the benefits of fundraising through selling Girl Scout cookies. Then we sold them door to door and I lived in the country.

With my mother and brother resettled, I have just sold my large home. I have been surprised that downsizing is emotional and difficult. I'm still working through some boxes and making decisions that will ultimately be a good thing. I will miss my gardens, but will take up container gardening instead.

My granddaughter, Hannah, has started college under a dual enrollment program where she is a high school student attending college. So very proud of her. She lost her mom in 2012 and her bio-father in 2017 so she's an orphan. She and I have been living together since 2012.

Life, though not without it's stresses, is full and rich.

School Story:

I loved to dance and tried to make every single dance. It was my main social outlet as my mom was single and working while I ran the household and took care of my brother and sister.

I enjoy reading your profiles. It's been good to catch up with y'all.
