Paul Scott Culver, Sr.

NEWARK: Paul Scott Culver, Sr., 63, of Newark passed away Monday, January 6, 2014, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Newark, Ohio, to the late Paul D. and Norma Ruth (Tracy) Culver.

He was the owner and operator of his father's garage, Culver's Service, until his illness. His son, Justin Culver continues to run the business. Scott loved NASCAR and all racing, especially Daytona, as well as camping and water skiing . In his early years, he enjoyed rabbit hunting and his beagles. Scott was a Ford lover for all of his 63 years.

He was a devoted father to his three sons, Paul S. Culver, Jr., Justin T. (Samantha) Culver, Brett R. Culver, all of Newark; his grandkids, Austin Thomas Culver, Zachery Logan Culver, Gaberial Paul Emmit Culver, Alexis Daisy Culver; his siblings, Paulette Magers, Beverle (Terry) Davino, Deborah Leaman and friend Mike McKnight, all of Newark, Lois Martin of Tampa, Florida, Bill (Cathy) Culver of Lincoln, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Barb.

Memorial contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association or The National Kidney Foundation .

No calling hours will be observed, just a celebration of life service on January 19, 2014 at 2pm at the GMP Hall on Hudson Avenue in Newark.
