Spencer,

I really don't want to get into the CD business. What I'd rather do, is give a set to the Class of 1968, care of Peggy, and if you want to copy them then just borrow them from her. Or get them ripped to someone's computer and just burn off sets as needed. How about that way?

BTW... I have You're A Lovely Woman by The Merry-Go-Round, it'll go on the request CD.

Wow. I bet I could sing along with or hum 98% of them. I wish I could remember what I had for lunch yesterday!

Dave Froberg

How about these? Anybody remember The Choir and "It's Cold Outside" How about "Here Comes The Night" by Them. I know you all remember The Cryan Shames "Sugar And Spice"; The Nightcrawlers and "Little Black Egg" or "Under My Thumb" by The DANTES ... "Friday On My Mind" by The Easybeats.

Any of those ring a bell???

10/08/08 11:57 PM #13

Malcolm Montgomery

Sorry, Dave, "Under My Thumb" is Rolling Stones c. 1965. Accept no substitutes.

Yo, Roger, I want to know what you think of my modest proposal. I might still have a connection in the NPS.

Roger,

Meant to tell you that I was out at Moundbuilders about a year ago and Jim Kingery was leading the tours of the mounds. He works for the Ohio Historical Society. Do you remember him from NHS or his dad Gordon who I think taught at the OSU Branch. By the way, for some of you who haven't been back for a while, it is probably worth a trip to see OSU Newark which has really changed. and also take the time to check out the Longeberger HQ building. Not as historical as the mounds, but still interesting

Malcolm,

Under My Thumb by the Stones never made the top 20. The Dantes version made #1 on WCOL. I have them both, and actually I prefer the local band's cover.
