Richard Arthur Selby, Jr.

December 24, 1949 - September 4, 1981

Services for Richard Arthur Selby, Jr., 31, 135 Linden Ave., will be 10:30 A.M., Tuesday in St. Francis De Sales Church.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Selby died Friday evening in Licking Memorial Hospital.

He was born December 24, 1949, in Newark to Gizella (Koruig) Selby of Newark and the late Richard A. Selby, Sr.

He was employed by the Newark Air Force Station, was member of the American Legion Post 764 and American Federation of Government Employees.  He was a Vietnam Army veteran and was awarded two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts.

Surviving besides his mother are two sisters, Kathleen Selby of Atlanta, Georgia, and Barbara Selby of the home; seven brothers, Michael Selby, Robert Selby, Terry Selby, Donald Selby, and Mark Selby, all of Newark, David Selby of Mansfield, and Bernard Selby of Nashport; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. today in the Egan Funeral Home.
