Although I hadn't seen Sam in nearly 20 years,  I have such fond memories, particularly when we were in Jr. High at Lincoln together.  Sam and I were the second string crazies on the Lincoln Lion Basketball Team.  I think we only got to start once against St. Francis but we had a great time on the team.  We never were the first off the bench but when we got in, we made the most of it.  Sam will be missed but the memories are locked in my heart.
