Gary Graham Harner

August 26, 1950 - November 16, 2016

NEWARK: A funeral service for Gary Graham Harner will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 6pm at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Newark, OH 43055. Family will greet friends for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Gary, age 66, of Newark passed away on November 16, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born August 26, 1950 to the late Franklin and Virginia (English) Harner in Newark, OH. 

Gary graduated from Newark High School and from the Ohio State University. He loved animals and spending time outdoors, especially for his daily feeding of the local squirrels and birds. 

Gary is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marla Harner; daughter, Lacey (Matt) Dalton; grandchildren, Gavin (Brandi), Brayden, and Reagan; 3 sisters-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Ronald McDonald House at Nationwide Children's Hospital, 711 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43205.
