Ron's father and my grandmother married when we were 7 years old so Ron was like a cousin to me.  We basically grew up together and had lots of good times with he and his brother, Ralph and my two sisters, my brother and me.  Ron went to the Navy and spent time in Germany and brought home his lovely bride, Laura.  She quickly became part of the family and we all had many get togethers and a lot of fun.  Ron was very quiet and Laura is very outgoing and they made a wonderful couple.  Their two children were born (Brian and Kevin) about the same time as my children (Britney and Aaron).  Ron had open heart surgery in 2016, which was very successful and gave him, we thought, a new lease on life.  We were all shocked when he had a massive heart attack and passed away on September 19th.   Ron, Laura, Brian and Kevin have been a close family and losing Ron has been  and is very difficult for all of them.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
