I received a submission of grades 1-9 from different schools from Janet Speelman (Littleton).  I also have these in a higher resolution if we need to print them off.  Thank you, Janet!

Hello Everyone !  Jay & I are so looking foreward to being there & seeing You All ! Some old high school insecurities popped up but...I think PHIL JENKINS is getting Us there ...we would always get word that He & Margaret were asking about us ( we doubled ) & now he will just have to make a “Celestial Appearance” (hope that happens & He brings others from our class with him) . So Sorry Margaret he was such a Cool Guy , so easygoing, relaxed and FUN! Bet You two were the best parents. I read somewhere advise for going to your 50th reunion is....Pretend your in kindergarten & your class is doing a play & You are all dressed up as Old People ......look in their eyes and you will see them.......then look at the name tag....ha ha......Bon Voyage...Denise Dishon NHS 68, Ohio University, Athens 72

Kathy is the mixer Thursday or Friday? What day are we going to decorate? I received a message saying the mixer is going to be Friday and the Veterans meeting is going to be Thursday. So does that mean the meal is going to be Saturday?

Veterans meet at the Legion on Thursday, the Mixer is at the FOP on Friday, and the dinner is at St. Leonard on Saturday.

Denise, such great advice!  I have always been insecure about walking into a room full of people; years ago I took a Dale Carnegie class and that helped.  After that my classes at Ohio State helped, but I still feel it

Good morning to all.  My husband Bill and I are now in Newark and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at both the mixer and dinner.  We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott on Church Street at the west end of town.  Thank you for the committee and all their hard work planning this 50th reunion.  You’ve done a terrific job.

Adding a few more details on Saturday's 10 a.m. bike ride. The trail at the YMCA starts behind the Rollaway. There is a nice parking lot there.  Nearest restroom is at the very front building of the YMCA.  By the way they are having a open house there tomorrow from 9 to 1200.  They are excited to tell of the things they have to offer, especially for us seniorssmiley

Great to see everyone. Bummer to not be able to spend more time with each of you. So interesting lives.

Good Morning!

I want to thank all of the committee members (you were all amazing) and also those special classmates who stayed around both nights to "undecorate".  We had over two hundred on Friday and Saturday night!  All of you coming is what makes our Class Reunions the success they have been over the years.  We hope everyone enjoyed their "50th" Class Reunion and we also hope you continue to use the website to keep connected.

Many people asked last night how many was in our class.  The official record they gave me 30 years ago when they gave me our class names was 552.  I also have an Advocate article that headlines Newark Class of 1968 graduates 552!!

I pray for Safe Travel to all of you traveling today.  I will see some of you at the Schooll Tour at 12:30 PM in front of the Gym (the same one that was our gym in 1968.)

Our POST reunion meeting is set for Monday, September 17 at 6:00 pm at the church!  Everyone is invited!

God Bless,

Peg
